I raced my M-10 powered Chevron B16 at the recent Portland Vintage Festival. There was a small field of cars in my Group, but I still had a good race with a Lola 292. Leave a comment, a 'LIKE,' of maybe even subscribe to my channel.

Thanks for watching! Here's the link:

AWesome! It looks like you are able out-brake a lot of the cars as well... When you say M10 powered, can you tell us more about the engine?

Nice video Steve.  Since the car is new and you are still sorting it out it has to be somewhat comforting to only have four other cars around you, not that any are inexpensive to fix, that one however would be REALLY expensive to fix (in the event of <inadvertent> 'contact').

Wish I had known about this event, looks like a lot of fun. I'll be keeping an eye out for it next year.

Mark,

There was a 20 sec/lap difference between the Chevron and the 1800 that I was also dealing with. Things come at you a lot faster in this car. The old computer had to ramp up its clock speed considerably. ;-)

Really fast.  I was going to say that is the fastest run group typically along with the CanAm and F1 cars.  The cars are frighteningly fast  honestly if you haven't seen this run group go before you should check it out.  It was probably 10 years ago at Sears Point (Infineon) a guy stacked his B16 in the back of another car at about 120mph, apparently mis-judged the speed of the car in front of him - I didn't see it but heard it was pretty ugly.  It can happen pretty quick at the speeds these cars go....add another 10+ cars to the field all traveling at roughly the same speed and.....there you have it.Watching the ex- Bobby Rahal 'Stelrad' Lola T298 with BMW M12/7.
