How rare is a 1973 Automatic with air conditioning?  I understand that many auto's were swapped to manual's back in the day, but does anyone know about how many 73's were delivered with auto and air?

1973 US version automatic's VINs ran from   2533173-2534861 -- 1668 cars in total.  No telling how many were converted to stick, and since A/C was dealer installed, there would be no figures on that either.  Automatics are much less common than stick shift cars, but to most 02ers are less desirable--unless of course you want to install a 5 speed, in which case the slightly larger transmission tunnel housing in an automatic is advantageous.
