And so it came to pass: my 1972 BMW 2002 and my 2009 Kia Sedona both hit 89,790 (original) miles today.

 

I was overcome with joy: "How freakin' cool izzat??" I exclaimed to my wife. "I gotta get some pictures of this!!"

 

Her response, "Really? That excites you? You need serious help."

 

Oh, well. I still think it's pretty neat...

Yeah, I get the same eye roll from my wife whenever the odometer on one of our cars reaches something interesting.  And yes, I have pictures of my '73's odometer rolling over 100k and 200k; in another 700 or so miles it will hit 55555--for the third time.
