We almost always recommend rubber mounts for the engine unless you're looking for the added stiffness for track use. We carry OE and aftermarket rubber as well as Condor Speed Shop UHMW mounts. For the trans, we recommend the E21 rubber mounts. They're beefier than the stock 02 trans mount and only require opening up the cross member hole slightly.

Thanks for the reply,

Would you recommend this engine mount with these tranny mounts for the M20 swap kit?

I think Jake built these mounts around the rectangular mount https://blunttech.com/products/6680387 and pair that with 2 of these- https://blunttech.com/products/10085092

For a standard 02 the upgrade would be the E21 mount, but I forgot the Classic Daily kit comes with the trans crossmember and that uses E36/M42 trans mounts

The shifter on my 76 is all over the place, whether it's in gear or not. It's difficult to find 1st, so I generally start off in 2nd. The shifter also spins freely.

Do I need the Dssr Short Shift Kit AND the Late Shifter Rebuild Kit, or would the Dssr Short Shift Kit get me there on its own?

Thanks in advance,

Matt

I oredered my parts yesterday around 12pm, and got my parts this morning at 9am. Less than 24 hours! Awesome!

Thanks again Dave

I certainly aim to please! We can't always get everything delivered that fast, but we will always do our best to get you what you need as soon as possible.

Thanks again!

I'm also looking at your ussr short shift kit. Looks fantastic. The only shift parts I haven't replaced are the mounting blocks ante sponge on the selector rod.

Do both with the dssr?

Cheers,

Chris

Yeah if they're both original I would definitely replace those. The bushings on the shifter blocks are probably toast at this point and that will allow the entire platform to shift around and produce a good amount of slop.
