Looking for 318i alternator adjusting arm and bracket

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

We can get them, but they cost more than the alternator now. The bracket alone is $190 from BMW. We sell a lot more E21 alternators now because of this. If you can find them used, that is probably the best route. Let me know if you're interested and I can get exact pricing on the new stuff.

tell me about your recored radiators you're selling for the 2002. Are they OEM radiators, cleaned out, core replaced, repainted? thanks

I can't speak with certainty on whether or not they started with OE BMW radiators, but I can speak to their quality. We have sold around 50-60 of these over the last three years and never had any negative reports. They're being run in our own cars as well with the same experiences. Being half the cost (and not back ordered) of a new Genuine BMW radiator doesn't hurt either. We've only had one return, which was due to a custom swap setup where the customer wasn't happy with the look of the custom aluminum radiator installed by the PO. The re-cored rad didn't end up fitting his car due to how the cooling lines were run with the swap.

What are the new door seals like (from BMW)? Are they like the original design which was made of hollow extrusions that are easier to install and close better?

I have aftermarket seals (bags were not labeled with a brand) in my 69 2002 and they are solid and are constantly coming out of the B pillar finishing strip and won't stay glued to the bottom section of the B pillar.

Just curious to know all the details before I buy another set.

Yeah that sounds like the majority of the complaints we get on the URO brand seals. The OE BMW seals are a lot better with the upper portion being hollowed which as you pointed out, aid in closing the doors. I've had one set that the customer wasn't happy with the fit that we sent back to BMW and were warrantied, but other than that the only complaint is the price. It hurts up front, but most will agree that it's worth it over the life of the car.

Thanks for the quick response. Please pm me price for both seals.  My fingers hopefully won't be sore from installing another set.  Maybe Ray can assist?.

Please do whatever you can to occupy his time. Anything to slow down the endless flow of text messages he sends to Steve would be welcome haha.

Prices on the way

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
