teeny tiny battery pack for jump starting

Recommended Posts

I've been using 1 for just over a year  , they don't like to run down too low & don't leave it connected to the battery past the start up.Brilliant tool to have I'm on # 2 ;)

Bought one of those, but luckily I haven't had to use it yet. I toss it in my car when I go somewhere, because I am spoiled by technology. (My other cars have auto shut off for my headlights)  and have left the lights on my '02 too many times. I have been lucky so far that there has been enough juice remaining that I have been able to start it up. I got one of these for backup. Plus I can use this thing to charge my cell phone if I need to.

But If I have to use this....cute little thing.. to start my car....and it works.....I will let Toby know..:P

1975 Malaga. It is rusty but runs. Just like me.

At $40, that's a great buy and good thing to keep in your trunk for emergencies. I paid over twice that for a similar one. I use mine when I go camping and have no electricity to charge my cell phone. It will recharge the phone for four or five days and still have power left and you can also use it as a bright flashlight. I have used to jumpstart a car with a weak battery that would go dead after sitting for a few days. It didn't like cold weather and was unable to jump the weak battery after sitting in the car outside for eight hours at 10 to 15 degrees.

Quite impressive. Though it would fit nicely I wouldn't carry that bomb in my pocket.

Couple of months ago I had an empty 9V battery blow up in my hand. Or actually just couple of cells from it. Still it kind of hurt and the battery flew from my hand, luckily outside. I was surprised of the power it still had.

Those are protected yes but what's the quality for that price? The energy would kill easily if it got loose.

Wouldn't do squat to most of the things I own (big trucks). Im always skeptical of those little things.

I have started my Hemi in my roadster with one when I had a gel battery that stopped holding a charge , lots of small block  powered hot rods here & at my paint shop neighbor where batteries always tend to go flat at a paint shop :) They work surprisingly well.

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
