So I thought my clutch master was leaking.  So I topped off the brake fluid reservoir and nursed it...it quickly went down to the level of the clutch line on the side and remained there.  Clutch still operates but I had to adjust it pedal to allow more travel.  So today I looked really carefully and realized its not leaking, the hose connection on top of the clutch master cylinder from the brake fluid reservoir is simply dangling next to the clutch master cylinder!  So the question is how it connected?  I did this by feel since space was limited and I'm not sure how to reconnect.  Also is the clutch master cylinder damaged from this?  I do have a new one coming.  I can either return it or use it as a spare.  It was replaced a few years ago.  Is this common?  Anyone have pics of how to reconnect?

Its a press fit into a rubber grommet. Just press it back in.

I have popped mine off a couple times by mistake using my pressure bleeder to bleed the brakes.

Looks like the grommet is disintegrating and maybe that is why it came loose in the first place. I'm going to replace the master cylinder with a new one since it's not too expensive and I get a new m/c installed. Now what's the bleeding procedure??

Fill reservoir.

Open bleeder until bubbles stop.

close bleeder.

They usually can bleed themselves enough to get started,

and once that happens, then they self- bleed back up that big

tube.  That's part of why it's so big.
