To all those who are NOT on FB (including me), here are some I took from last week.

Trailer queen (rather king? since car is Oscar).  Marshall's K75S is in front of my car.

Nice pictures Jim. Yes that's Brian Ach's Tii.

The Tundra Tii, PV553495, is Italian spec with Michelin MXVIMG_9881.jpg tires. It's only driven on and off the trailer I was told. Super low KMs.

G-Man - It was good to meet up with you at the Montford.

I want to thank everyone who stopped by Otisland.  After all these years - banned/banished for so long - it was nice to make a comeback, under disguise and cover of the rotating pedal cars.  For those "in the know," however, who received the special invite, it was fantastic - and it sure beats popping the hood and staring at another engine bay ... Zzzzzzzzz ...

Granted, apologies for those with the VIP-pass invites - I realize that Otisland was a bit hard to find:  Past the velvet ropes, behind the bandstand, in between the O2 field and the M3-only "members only" zone.  But, for those who ventured behind the rocks, we had a great time, didn't we?

I love pedal cars ...

Otisland 7.jpg

Particular thanks to the car-wash crew - you had your hands full, with all the rain ...

This one didn't win a trophy - but should have.  Then again - who gives a flying f___ about the awards?!?

Otisland 13.jpg

The private Otisland vendor lot.  What ... you shopped at Korman?!?  HA!

Otisland 14.jpg

Friday morning, Cracker Barrel ... what, you went to the Foundation?  Double HA!

PS - I think Scott is running some type of "photo contest" or something like that.

Here are my entries.  Gosh, I hope I win something ... maybe a trophy, or something useful - like a Shamwow.

I'm thinkin' that Jim and Andrew have been spending too much time at -- or looking for -- Otisland and insufficient time perusing the wheels database....

This model of FPS rim is an oddity in that it is (a.) genuine BMW OEM; and (b.) 5.5" wide, although manufactured for non-turbo '02's.  I wish I knew the ET.  They were certainly available as accessories through the Italian BMW dealer network.  Perhaps Anders knows whether one could factory order them on Italian-delivery cars.  I just find it odd that BMW would be willing to install 5.5" rims -- at the factory -- solely for a couple of relatively-small markets: Italy and the U.K., but not for the larger German or U.S. markets.  I mention the U.K. because I believe there was a Dunlop 5.5" alloy rim manufactured solely for that market.  Note that these "special" rims seemed to only be offered in their country of manufacture.

Regards,

Steve

With tires that are 24+ years old,  I hope it is only driven in and out of the trailer.   Yikes.
