Hello folks. I recently purchased www.bmw2oo2.com to create a blog for my car (i haven't started it yet). I am going to design the site to hopefully allow others to document their builds as well. I AM IN NO WAY TRYING TO STEAL PEOPLE FROM THIS SITE AS THIS SITE IS A VERY VALUABLE TOOL TO ANYONE WHO OWNS AN e10!!!!

I wanted to have a logo for my site so I hired a friend of mine who has done a ton of graphic design work for me in the past. When I saw the final product, I decided it would look GREAT on a shirt. I then thought that there are probably quite a few of you that would love one of these shirts as well! Let me know what you guys think, and if anyone wants one, i will have one made and send it out.

I'm looking for an interest list so I know how many to make. I'm also probably going to have hats made.

A personal blog sir. I am in no way trying to poach any of 2002FAQ's users, as I believe my personal site for my personal car is FAR LESS than what is here. It is just a place where I'm going to put updates on what I'm doing to my car. I dont need 2002FAQ's permission to do so, nor am I saying buy my shirt instead of the shirts they sell here. I am making 0 profit on these shirts. If you dont want one, you dont have to have one. Please read my post before you rant about me "Stealing".

Rude.

Furthermore, if you weren't interested, why did you open the post in the first place? Seems a little fishy.

I merely mentioned that I bought the website to explain why I had this logo made. You must not have read the entire post.

I suppose you are entitled to your opinion. I deal with quite a few members of this site on a regular basis, and I'm sure they know my intentions are pure here. If you don't want a shirt, then you don't have to order one. I know a lot of people would probably like one. I posted so I know how many to have my shirt guy make.

So maybe next time just keep your opinion to yourself. 2002FAQ has hundreds and hundreds of people on this site contributing to it every single day. I'm not trying to solicit customers to switch over to my website (which I own the domain to, there isn't even a website built yet). You are just making yourself look like a fool. If Steve has an issue with my post, he is allowed to delete it if it violates any rules or if he thinks it is ethically wrong. People buy and sell things on here all the time, including yourself.

Grow up dude.

Blake, I think that's a great design and would totally buy one. Will they come in Granada red? :)

BTW, I don't know what Road_trip is on about. Haters gonna hate I guess? Go make your blog, it ain't gonna hurt anyone here. Post lots of pics so we can see what you're up to.

Cheers,

Josh

I will put you on the list. I don't know what the logistics of doing multiple colors would be, but I'm sure I could make it happen. And thank you, I wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy haha

I can do any. Basically the kidney grill will be silver or gray, and the "o2" can be another solid color

With as much interest as I've had, I'm going to put my first order in.

These are the 4 color-schemes I'm currently working with. In the future, I am going to try and have all of the original BMW 2002 colors available (Chamonix might be tough unless it's on a black shirt!). I have a few of these left before I place another order. If you guys don't want them, i will keep them! 26 dollars includes shipping.

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
