Probably been posted before, but there aren't too many US movie chase scenes featuring a 2002...

 

This one's from The China Syndrome (1979) with Jack Lemmon at the wheel.

This area was used many times in the TV show CHiPs. 210 & 118 near LA.

yes, that was an epic chase.  i remember running in that race.

 

although you have to use the label "2002" very loosely with Bob's car....

it is more of an e30 chassis with some 2002 bodywork on it.  heavily massaged S14 engine.  massive flares to cover the huge tires and brakes.

 

quite an impressive car and driver to run against.

Yes, that thing is a piece of machinery.  When watching the video I kept thinking, "how is this thing sticking it to e36 M3s with big flares and whatnot?  Those are obviously expensive builds."  The photos and explanation helped.  Pretty cool.
