Anyone have a spare rear emblem for an early 1800 (Gold Tone)? Must be rear with lugs at 9 & 3 o'clock.

Dear Neil, do you need the BMW roundel, or the BMW emblem that says 1800 on it?   I have one or two I think of both, and you're welcome to either. Let me know if you just need to roundel. All my best, sincerely Pete

Pete,

Thanks for the offer. Just the 82mm Roundel. Lugs must be at 9 & 3 o'clock positions, not at 12 & 6. Paint condition unimportant, will repaint.

Thanks again.

Neil, I will go look in the garage right now. If not I will visit my "uncle Barry" and his barn as I know there are some there too. This will be period Correct with seraphs at the bottom of the BMW emblems etc.

Sincerely, Pete

Dear Neil, I have three BMW emblems, with the correct size and stud placement. I will send you the best, which has original paint protected by many years in storage, it came off of a red BMW 1800 from New Jersey. This one has goldtone metal, I have one Silvertone metal roundel as well, let me know if that is preferable for you. Please PM me your address, as I've recently misplaced my permanent address book. I will pack this carefully, and send it out. Be careful when taking the little clip off the back stud, these 50 year old roundels are very fragile. All my best to you, and hope to see you for Monterey this next summer.  I will proceed with making plans with Barry and Steve --now that the new year has hit.

Sincerely, Pete
