It just popped to $13,600.00. I am kind of shocked, but also stoked for our car values...
I was skeptical about whether this was really a Tii but the VIN does match the range given in the McCartney Restoration Guide for a 74 Tii.
It'll be interesting to see where this ends up. I'm definitely out of the running with my lowball strategy.
Damn, 13,600 as of minutes ago. With 4d 22h left. My high $12k bid is out the window.
If I'm allowed a second guess, I'll go with $21581.05. If I win, I'll tell how I came up with the number
Uh-oh, that recently-sold dog of an Agave '72 tii, that sold for $15K, is suddenly looking well-bought!

Just posting this here for comparison after they both close...
Well both look better than what is up on my lift leaking various fluids but blue seats with the black interior is a deal breaker for me. Bottom line is that if these cars are getting these kind of prices, many of you on this forum are responsible as some of you have some kick ass rides!
I will say $15,800.
I can't believe it is over $13k already. Yeesh.
Someone is not going to get best value for money.
What we don't know is whether there is some shill bidding going on. Not that it matters insofar as this thread is concerned.
I am really enjoying this. I think i will do more of these contests
This time it's a pair of stickers, next time we might have a bottle opener.
I'll wait for the bottle.
