I'm going to be in Tijuana the 1st week of 2016 for work.  Staying in Otay Mesa and walking across the border.  Oh joy.  At least I'll have one of my customers from Chicago with me.

Hmm - where was that great paint shop mentioned in another thread?  I've only seen very rudimentary car stereo and repair places there.

John - do you ever fly out to the DCA area?  How is the Colorado car running?

Colorado car is in storage for the winter. However it does seem to run well. Next year I'll be installing a new fuel pump/surge tank set up. Also I'd like to change to 40mm Jenvy ITBs for better off idle drive ability. This winter I'm going to take care of the Porsche. It needs the seats rebuilt (covers are good just the padding) and rebuild the rear suspension.

We can go in and out of DCA but usually use IAD because it's so much less hassle.

John

Couple of quick tips in case you have not crossed before.

1- If you have a passport card bring it, or if your passport has the RFID chip on it, you can use both at the Ready Lane. You can avoid the long pedestrian line by going all the way to the front and keeping to the left where it says SENTRI and Ready Lane.

2- stop by Mariscos Titos, you will have the best Ahi Tuna tostada you have ever had in your life, it sounds like you are going to Otay Mesa industrial zone, so it is right on the way there in Boulevard Bellas Artes.

3- if you are still hungry, stop by Tacos El Poblano. If not, stop anyway and have at least one.

4- there is NOTHING to do in Otay Mesa. Get out of there and into Downtown as soon as possible.

I would love to host but I will be in Vegas for CES that week. Shoot me a PM if you stay the weekend.

Have a great trip!

Cavs are on TV at 2:00 (I'm also from Cleveland)!  I live in Los Feliz but go hit a bar or something!  Saint Felix in Hollywood and Jerseys at Redondo Pier are the Cleveland bars.
