Dang! almost missed Ludwig's birthday!

Just realized in the pre-Christmas rush that today (19 Dec) is Ludwig's 43rd birthday--assembled today in 1972 as a '73 model.  And he rolled over 250k just a couple of weeks ago.

I celebrated appropriately by running errands and Christmas present shopping  in the '02--cold but clear here today in SW Ohio--and best of all, no snow--at least not enough to warrant the salt trucks.  Yet.  Almost time for winter hibernation, but not until the snow flies.

cheers from OhiO

My Inka car was built on January 16th, 1973.  Mike, I think we have compared VIN # before We must be close?  Inka VIN 2587593.

No Salt issues here, may need A/C Christmas day.

MARRY CHRISTMAS!!

Don, our cars are 503 VINs apart...suspect the factory had down time between Christmas and New Years, accounting for nearly a month with only 500 US spec cars produced.

cheers

Mike, your post reminded me that I had also had forgotten that my 74 tii birthday which was built on 18 DEC 1973 (2780763).   I'm still driving it since no snow is in the forecast, it is suppose to be back up in the 60's late this week here in the tidewater region. I'm not thinking of hibernation any time soon.
