Can anyone give a little advice on how to remove the rear subframe mount bolts? Ya know, the ones that are pressed through the body under the rear seat? I need to remove them before I drag the shell away...TIA

did this on my e28. put the nut on so as to not mess up the

threads. then BFH, real F'ng hard, took 6 two handed under

arm swings. May want to squirt some PB Blaster on the bolt

head and let it soak overnight.

HTH,

Jack

and what are you getting rid of. Those bolts are easily broken because they are "frozen" in there. I know I busted one. I have an impact wrench and a porable air tank, perhaps I can come down from seattle and loosen for ya in exchange for some disgarded parts? ALso get under the seat and WD 40 the bolts from that angle, watch out for your knuckles, and a big breaker bar helps.
