Do they make a mallory Distributor for a M10?

Anyone know any current sources. I heard they made an adjustable one. Or am I no better off than a new 002 bosch? I have a stock motor (155 compression), weber 38/38 coming soon, stock cam & exhaust. Thoughts?

John,

Yes, they did in fact produce a dual point centrifugal advance replacement for the M10. I ran one in my 74 2002 for a couple years in the late 1970's. Came with an indexed key to set the amount of total advance. Became a pain in the arse to find points, disto rotors and caps. With the advent of popular electonic ignition upgrades, combined with whatever stock distro you choose to run, would be better for performance than the Mallory unit.

I saw they make one with unilight and tunable advance. Great. I do not need the vacuum advance option though.

They are bigger than a Bosch dizzy, how do they fit? Do we need to change the camcover's studs for bolts? What about the clearance with the firewall?
