that car screams hidden goodies. i'm saying those are definately alpina steelies, and that car is probably filled with other cool stuff. notice the splashguards at the front of the rear wheel arches. he claims leather seats, too. any bets on a c/r 5 speed and factory 2002 lsd? how about alpina auxiliary fuel tank?

if i lived within 500 miles of that car, i'd be looking at it this weekend.

my prediction- famous ebay sleeper to be.

good luck all you hoosiers

Got the auction going now interested to see what it goes for. Sure it's toast but would make a great parts car. Is snow falling in Indiana yet?

back (late '60's?) but I think there was a sport version of the Opel Kadett that had 13x5.5 or 13x6 wheels that looked just like the ones in the photo....

...they look like Borrani wheels to me too.

We have a few more pictures from the seller. Not leather seats, and no Alpina gas tank... who knows about C/R steering box or transmission.

The shock towers have serious sized patches in them. I doubt the body is salvageable, but there are some interesting pieces like others mentioned.

also the Opel wheels didn't have as deep a ridge just outboard of the lug nuts, and were made by Lemmenz, same folks as made the stock BMW wheels. Think those are Alpina/Borrani...

Cheers
