SOT..where were the assembly lines for the 2002's

Are the 2002's from State of Bavaria in the city of Munich, the Munich factory ?

Since the existing 3er factory is at Olympicstadt, and the Olympics were there in the 70s..(I think)...then I would like to say that the factory was actually closer to Dingelfing....which is the location for the 5er being made.....

Just a thought.....

During the early year of 02 production, BMW had acquired the former Glas facility, which was converted to assembly of the 2500/2800/Bavaria series. I believe Regensburg as built to conicide with the launch of the first 3er's.
