Does anybody know how to keep the driveplate for an automatic from turning while i undo the torque converter bolts? I cannot do it i tried jamming a screwdriver every which way in there and I am running out of the little patience I had to begin with.

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated

about 3 feet long or so, drill a couple holes and bolt a couple of the bolts in it and use it for a stop (like a long leg)?

if not an air wrench will usually take em off while holding it w/your hand.

Calm down, step back and look again at the problem. Drinking beer helps too.

Best of luck w/it man,

b

They sell a fly wheel tool for like $6.00 that work on the motor, if it is out of the car.
