right rear brake scraping sound

Just replaced my rear brakes with new drums, shoes, wheel cylinders and handbrake cable (rusted in, difficult to remove). I noticed the new cables have a longer spring on the end that goes into the drum. There was a scraping metal to metal sound on the right rear. I took out the handbrake cable but the sound is still present. I will take the drum off again but brakes looked simple, am I missing something? Only get the noise when applying the brakes, goes away when car is moving.
