line break in this setting means hitting the enter key. Although you don't see it, there is a character inserted when you go to the next line with the enter key (insert a line break). Normally that would not mean anything in html, but this web board replaces those with html line breaks. So just be sure you don't hit enter when you run out of room, just keep typing.
