Where to get plastic head ignition key blanks?

PITA. I used mine for about the first three weeks of ownership and then put it away and had a regular key cut. Also, when they get old the plastic head snaps off, leaving you with the key shaft stuck in the ignition switch...

Did BMW ever sell fixed plastic head ignition/door keys, or was it only the aftermarket key companies?
