i'm mounting my chrome rear bumper on my 74, any tips? (one

so i have to cut out a small section in the back, i'm just going to drill it and use a cutting bit and a dremel to open up the hole enough.

the factory manual says something about a rubber spacer between the bumper and the body:

i didnt get any hardware with my bumper, and i cant decipher whats going on in that picture - what can i pick up at the hardware store to use as this spacer? other than that, all i need is two sets of two bolts to mount up the bracket and then just bolt on the bumper - i'm using 72 brackets w/ a 73 bumper.

Yes, those spacers are to keep the ends of the bumper away from the body. They use them front and rear. I don't know if they are still available.
