Opinions on the MSD rich/lean indicator? It uses an O2 sens

to sense oxegen in the exhaust. Reasonably easy to mount. It's available from Summit Racing. K&N also has a version.

takes about 5 mins to warm up... they all only work at WOT... good for perfect stoich reading.. not good for race tuning.. you can park it on the rich side though for safety... enjoy...

A one wire O2 sensor and a simple $30 gauge like the picture is what I bought. The O2 sensor is a bit erratic when going lean, but absolutely precise at stochiometric and richer. Anyway, your motor will be bugging big time at anything bellow stochio.

I have seen many gauges and opted for a VDO sized one as it integrates perfectly with my other gauges (oil pressure, temp, etc) I also like the green leds for stochio, and then the orange leds for a bit lean/rich and red for way rich/lean.

Of course, you can spend big money, but it is not necessary.
