If you remove your stock wiper arms be careful when you reinstall. If you push 'em all the way down on their splined mounts (the part that sticks out of the body), they're liable to hit the "chrome" windshield trim strip and scrape it up or even jam the wipers (thus a blown fuse or burned out wiper motor). Reinstall so that a mm or two of spline is showing and they should clear OK...

"Voice of experience"--Karl's sharp eye spotted this on my car after windshield installer pushed the wiper arms on a little too far...

Just make sure you get them on far enough that the locking tab gets under the slines where the shaft tapers down.
