Price:: 350

Location: : Kennewick, WA

EVERYTHING HAS BEEN SOLD.

THANK YOU

I have my M10 drivetrain pulled in preparation for an m42 to pop in. I am hopping to part with everything below, either in one go or splitting it up in reasonable parts.

Everything below is open to offer, I am just basing prices off of what I've seen similar go for on here but i'm not looking to make a bunch off of this stuff. All prices without shipping. I often get to to Seattle or Portland and could possibly arrange to bring stuff with me.

Everything remaining for $500 OBO

M10 w/distributor with pertronix, weber 32/36 (water choke). Mileage unknown. The engine ran well and didn't give me any problems but was not particularly powerful (I think thats normal). Valves stay in adjustment great, recently did valve cover gasket, drinks some oil (doesn't seem to really leak). I did not get a chance to compression numbers but shot this video of it revving (which was taken on a cell phone then sent by text, apologies for the quality).

water pump was professionally installed about 1000 miles ago. Spark plug wires are about 500 miles old. Inside VC is clean clean. **The alternator, which was rebuilt a few years ago may have just gone out, literally after I drove it to my friends to pull the engine, so I don't know if its actually dead or it was a cable/grounding issue, ran fine with booster attached. $350 for engine with weber, & disty with pertronix, $250 for just the engine. Disty with pertronix alone $50?, Weber alone $50?, coil (orange) $20?. starter alone $25?

Transmission, stock 4-spd transmission, never gave me any issues whatsoever. I think I have some new redline MTF that I could throw in (stuff is expensive!) because the M42 tranny takes ATF. It will not come with shifter linkage. Clutch never slipped, but I do not know how old it is. Tranny alone $200.

Driveshaft, I have a few people who PMd me in the last few months that are going to get first dibs $50. Unless someone takes the whole shebang

If you can think of anything else I would be pulling for this swap, I am probably selling it, so just ask. Open for offers, more open for offers if you take most or all of it, and if you can pick up in PNW somewhere.

    BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

    Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

    History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

    In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

    BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
