That is one beautiful dog that you have there...is that a "Blue?" My all time favorite! I rescued a Fawn PB when I lived in NYC and he was my best bud for over 10 years...awesome breed.

Listen, I don't claim to know everything about IE and admittedly haven't done business with them for several years. I can only speak to my own experiences (very positive) and the vast majority of the feedback here that is also very positive. I would also say that, contrary to what you mentioned in your previous post, dissatisfied customers are far more likely to voice their feelings in this Internet age than the happy ones (ask me how I know as an Internet Sales Director for a large MB dealership). The fact that 98% of the feedback on IE is positive seems to indicate that they're doing a solid job.

Anyways, here I go continuing to sustain the thread that I was just whining about refusing to die lol...

This should do it for you as most threads die when I get to posting in them.

No, that's the f*&^ing stance f*&^ing thread...

And Fresh's experience tells you something positive:  CALL IE when you need something that's not

bog- stock- normal- ordinary, or when you need to change an order, or when (as happens sometimes)

an order shows up but it has E30 parts instead of 2002 parts.

On the phone, it'll get done. quickly and correctly.  By email, it's really variable.

Don't email. Just call.

jus' sayin'

Maybe the reason why there so many positive posts is because there are so many happy customers. my experience have been good, and i am happy. So... maybe i will keep just using IE. just kidding, actually the thought of not using them anymore because you say that you had a bad experience, well that never entered my mind.

just saying

Just placed my first order with IE a week or so ago. I expected a wait before receiving.

I got a ship notification today, but the package was already out for deliver (hmmm).

Unfortunately 1 of my 2 ordered parts was incorrect. I emailed near the end of the business day so hopefully i'll hear back and they will resolve it tomorrow. I'm not worried but a bit disappointed.

See my post above about emailing:  If you want instant happy, just call.  You usually learn something new, too.

This thread can't die!

I've been out of the 2002 world for over a year now (work, moving, family, other cars, motorcycles, life, etc), but FINALLY started working on the '73 again and as always parts are needed.

I knew about IE's "troubles" but did not hesitate to order based on previous business with them - and of course Andrew is great!

Anywho - I ordered at about 2PM - it's currently 5:23PM and I already have tracking info!  Nice!

Way to go IE!

Ben K.

Hats off to Jeff Ireland for making up a rear disc brake kit after the SVRA made me get rid of my wildwood set up. This kit was no longer available at IE but he put one together for me anyway . I also had to go back to the girling front brakes with dual lines. Andrew made up all my brake lines to fit my tilton pedal set up . Very custom and solved a big problem for me .They are great to work with !!!
