Great week of progress, very exciting!  Thanks to JP & Delia who are killing it over at A1.  Transmission and wiring next week and then on to the endless odds & ends, including new horsehair pads in the seats, windshield coming out to tweak the headliner, bumpers coming off for some detail work, etc, etc...All of which will be displayed in separate posts, just for the sake of infuriating Marshall and Steve. :D

Uhm, Hen ..... the fan is on the right way and 72 Tii's have plastic runners.

Looks good!

Ah.

I thought that they switched to the alloy runners in April 72 with the switch to the E12 head. That's why I've been asking if it's an early 72.

And I remembered the sharp end of the middle flange to the engine like this, but the rounded shape of the wings show clockwise, too:

No worries. Sorry.

Sooner or later it will have to run under its own power, Mike.  Of course, that will be *after* new 165R 13 tires on resprayed steelies.

The rest is details, details and more details.  Some are not particularly exciting - like the new windshield wiper rubber grommets and proper silver wiper blade holders, but it's important - you'll see those before the hood is open.
