Going about 75-85% much of the time, but about 1/4 - 1/3 of the way through he clearly got warmed up. Had the 'vette a little squirrely at one point. After about 3/4 of the way through he looked worried, looking around. I thought I heard a bit more grinding at that point too, and the 'vette disappeared on the straight. Might have broke something, lost a gear or something, cause he didn't push so hard and didn't seem to have the top speed any more.

I would love to get a chance to do that, particularly with enough experience to know the high speed corners and what the braking distances are.

Imagine all the corners you have to remember. Anyway, that Elise seems to be a nice car, I even enjoyed the music from the straight cut gearbox.
