Windshield wiper selection

Here's a cool thing.

Marine outfitting stores sell British made stainless steel blades in the correct length and connection.  Similar to roundie originals.

Sorry can't give you any brand name.

Being in (the Port of) Vancouver, we have dozens of independent marine suppliers and the wiper blades are common in most of them.   Not too expensive $18-26, per blade if I recall.

I buy 15" Anco wiper blades at WalMart for both my '75 and my wife's '76.  Not long ago Consummer Reports checked all blades and found these to be about the best, and they currently retail for less than $5. In the UV heavy Southwest they last about 1½ yrs., or more.

Thanks for all the replies gentlemen! I forgot to mention that I am going for the best quality, not necessarily concerned about longevity. My current wiper blades have a pressure point where they attach to the holders. That was why I was looking for a more modern blade style. However I think I will go with the Anco brand ones, can't go wrong with that price.
