Rear Main Seal Replacement Advice

I am in the process of replacing the clutch and flywheel and while I was at it I was going to replace the rear main seal if it showed signs of deterioration. After removing the tranny, clutch, and flywheel, I was pleasantly surprised to find the rear of the engine super clean except for some clutch dust. So, the question is: If the rear main seal, which was installed in 1993 with about 40K miles, looks intact and in very good condition, should I even attempt to replace it? Or just leave it as is? Thanks...

I'm a great believer (from my late father-in-law who started wrenching back in the 20s) in the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" school.  If it's not leaking I'd leave it alone.  The rear main seal on my '69 is original with 224k miles and it isn't leaking (yet!) so they're apparently pretty long-lived.

Just my humble opinion...
