Drive Shaft Self-Leveling Bearing Disassembly On 76

Ah, that's the end of your driveshaft.  The bushing that centers on the transmission output shaft nipple.

Make sure you have a new one in hand before you pull the old one!  There are at least 3 styles that I've seen...

Then I seem to remember just sticking the slide hammer bearing puller in there and whacking on it.

But it's been a long time, now...

Toby, that is corect. There is no obvious issue with it, I just want to get in there clean it up and re-pack it.

Maybe just spray inside with brake cleaner and pack with fresh grease. I wonder if brake cleaner would harm the plastic leveling ball?
