well... an AWD talon really. While it may out launch the M20/02, it still isn't that much faster, the m20 costs less to fab, and the 02 is more of a head turner.

When you compare his eclipse to my M3-- apples and rotten apples. The M3 is refined, elegant, and solid-- the eclipse is twitchy, cumbersome, and creaky.

I respect what he has done to it but... If you polish a turd... You still have a turd.

If I offended you-- RELAX-- it's just the internet.

Yea, I too thought the guy in the M3 wasn't even aware he was

racing. Pluss the video is very poor proof of what was going on. I

know Eclipses are fast I can just barly beat them in my WRX. As far

as racing videos go I still like the one where the K car destroys a

turbo Supra and does a 10.6 at 130 something in the 1/4 mile.

Juan Pablo in your 2002, and you in his F1. Who's gonna win?

Whenever I'm in my "boy racer" E30 M3 and I see a ricer racing around trying to catch up with me, I like to push a little more, then have my coffe cup in hand as he gets alongside.

The other one is when a street racer asks you how fast your car is, ask him "on which track? T-hill, Laguna, Sears? Most of the "street racers have never been on a race track except for their playstation.

Rotarys blow up when induced to detonation. THis is true for all motors, but rotarys are more fragile. Its just that the user has exceeded the specifications of the motors.

The 6 bolt 4g63 is one of the strongest motors ever produced liter per liter. You will be hard pressed to find many 2L motors than can handle 600whp on the stock bottom end such as extreme motorsports prooved years ago.

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
