Aceandrew - Where's My Brake Line Kit?

Manuel

Recommended Posts

Andrew,

Let's keep this simple -- if you don't have the brake line kit you said you have, just please refund me the money I sent you.  It's been over three weeks man and you said you were ready to ship it.

I have been emailing you in the past two weeks asking for status and you have not responded.

He just had a kid... Andrew is a good guy. It's also the holidays. He also isn't always at his email. I know it usually takes a couple days for him to get back to my emails as well. He wont wrong you.

I will also vouch for him as being trustworthy. I have dealt with him and have always been taken care of.

Thanks guys.

Manual, I assume you must not have received my reply this morning hence this post.  I do owe you an apology, so I am sorry for not being hastier in delivery or responses.

As mentioned I have just had a kid, and I completely underestimated how much he'd rearrange my world.  My recent priority has been on family, not shipping brake lines.  On the plus side, when I've got the little guy on my chest at 2am I've been polishing your lines by way of a feeble apology.  As mentioned in the message, they'll be going out (finally) Monday with the postman.

This is your actual kit (photos taken about an hour ago), I hope you appreciate it.

Just before the birth of my first child, a good friend (who had just become a father himself for the first time) told me...

"Having a child changes the Center of your Universe."

That is just as true now as it was when he first told me that some 34 years ago.  Congrats, Andrew!

Manuel:  Patience  is a virtue.  Kinda like mercy.  Please cut him a little slack.

The quality of mercy is not strained.
It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven
Upon the place beneath. It is twice blest:
It blesseth him that gives and him that takes.
Tis mightiest in the mightiest; it becomes
The throned monarch better than his crown.
His scepter shows the force of temporal power,
The attribute to awe and majesty,
Wherein doth sit the dread and fear of kings.
But mercy is above this sceptered sway;
It is enthroned in the hearts of kings;
It is an attribute of God himself;
And earthly power doth then show like God's
When mercy seasons justice.

Congratulations on the addition to your family!!

My children ( I can still call them that even though they range from 22 to 34) did totally change my world ….. much better!

I always ask to speak with Andrew when I call. Sometimes just to ask for an opinion or talk about possibilities for the direction my 02 will be taking, and sometimes it's to count how many times I can get him to say "frankly" :) AceAndrew congrats on bringing the next generation of bmw enthusiast to the world!

    BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

    Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

    History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

    In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

    BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
