My wife and daughter and I took a ride to the mountains. We ran the twisty backroads up to the Blue Ridge Parkway and back.  It was right at 200 miles with a maximum elevation of just under 4000'.  

 

Of course, the pictures don't do the views justice. It was unusually low humidity which meant breath taking views.

Thanks Tim.  I agree.   She did a wonderful job with the pics.  I have some amazing memories with her when she was little and some great pics that she took back then too.  Most of those were in British iron.  She's no longer little but still enjoys a good back road blast.  She's the only family member that doesn't get queasy in the twisties.  My son wants to do it but can't handle the "g"s in the turns and my wife has to take Bonine.  It might be the driver but I'm not talking 😀

 


Oh well  C'est La Vie!
