Check your brake fluid level. Brake booster could be sucking fluid and burning fluid.

smoke on decel is common symptom of worn valve guides.

 

White smoke? sounds like hydro burn

Mine did that too, I ended up having a bad valve guide, bad booster, and a bad brake master cylinder. Hard to say which one was a leading contributor

As someone who has been on the losing end of that statement... I am laughing my head off. 

 

At that point, however, the car was in such a terrible state of disrepair that I would have just slowed people down anyway :P

 

 

 

Scope creep is good... Embrace it :)
