Momo Basketweaves in 14 x 6: these are the Rotas: standard.jpg and these are the Momos: standard.jpg good luck with search. remember: offset is really important: ideal offset for 2002 is 25-28mm. That would not require much fender rolling at all.

offset for all 2002 wheels.

1 5.5 wide wheel will require a different offset then a 7inch wide wheel.

My vote is for the 15x 6 alpinas but they take a bit of massaging to make them fit.

Still available new (even though they have been out of production for 10 years) from walloth and nesch in germany.

As far as the wheel bearings and steering geometry are concerned there is only 1 correct offset. The additional rim width would ideally be added equally on both sides of the rim with the offset remaining the same. Whether or not you have an equal amount of room on the inside and outside to widen the rim is a different story and so the offset might need to change. It's easier to add flares than to move the strut....The wheel bearings will see different loads and the scrub radius and kingpin offset will change. Does this matter in the real world? Depends how the car is driven and how sensitive the driver is.

See photos P7260095.jpg and P7260096.jpg at the URL below for some 15x7 offset 24 wheels (BMW E30 Style 10). The tires are 195/50-15. Clearance in the rear is fine. Inside clearance in the front is fine. Outside front clearance required a little fender rolling/stretching.

If by rubbing "issues" you mean "problems", stay clear of E21 320i wheels (offset 18), wheels wider than 6 inches, wheel offsets outside 24-30 mm, and tires wider than 195 mm. Good tire sizes are 195/60-14 and 195/50-15. Bottlecap wheels (14x6, offset 35) work with 195/60-14 tires.

It's possible to go outside those limits, and it's been done many times, but you'll have to experiment to see if it works on your car.

With any of the 13's or 14's available the wheel housings look so empty.. those Rotas sure look nice though! I'd like to maintain a 5.5-6.5 width...

I'm going more for a modern "pro touring" look..

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
