The oldest BMW I can find is a well picked over '78 320i.

...we may be in the middle of nowhere (Alamosa), but my favorite local junkyard has 6 2002's, ranging from "sheetmetal only" to "hey, I could fix this sucker." If there's anything you really need, maybe I could help you out.

I mostly want to run into that "great junkyard find" deal. You know, the 38 dges for $20. Finding the 320is on "half price day". I
