other 2002 Headlight Brackets Right And Left Different?

I have a extra complete headlight bracket, realoem shows 2 part # 63121358065 for the left and -- 66 for the right, I don't see a part # anywhere on the extra bracket, both brackets in my 75 02 look like the same part. On the drivers side the adjusting knobs are on the outside and bottom , on the passengers side they are on the inside and bottom headlights adjust fine. The extra bracket has the same adjuster location as the 2 installed in my car so do I have 3 with the same part # , what is the difference, and does it matter picture of extra part attached.

Those are commonly called "buckets," and the difference/handedness has been discussed previously. A "search" may disclose those posts.

Yes, there is a left and right.  I had posted about it a while back.  If you interchange, the lights will not align properly.

OK I understand the common name is "buckets" however BMW calls them brackets in their parts list The question is which part is the extra one I have, or how to tell other than a part # which it does not have.

accidentally swapped sides or have two lefts/rights. I did this when reassembling my '69 after paint, not realizing there were lefts and rights. Like sexing day-old chickens, it's difficult but not impossible to tell lefts from rights.

Answer found, I have a spare right side and my also have the ones in my car switched !
