NOT a bimmer though...I did the math...you GOTTA run a honda around here. Running something with the lack of parts availability (ie, 02) just doesn't make sense in my location. Everyone else runs a Honda...which means there are always parts spares at the track, if they are not, you can easily go pick some up at your local whatever crap-ass store. I sold my '99 Civic a while ago, downgraded to a '91 Civic to save some cash. And this is the result...I'm gonna end up spending more!!!

anyways, this one is a '90 civic SI HB, gonna run here in IT2, pretty much the same as SCCA ITB I think. ready for next season, May-ish.

woooooot!!!!!!! I am super pumped!!! Its gonna start getting stripped next week.

you're right.. tons of parts and info out there.. ebay is your friend.. although with it being IT I'm not sure if they'll let you unlock the power of the b18 ;)

yeah, that sucks, I have the b18a in my driver, and my brother has a JDM b16 sitting on a stand in our shop as well. The b16 is coupled to a close ratio LSD'd trans as well. Too bad we can't use them, damn IT rules! :)

nope, you need to grab a trans that was hooked up to a b-series engine (as the stock engine in the 88-91 was a D16).

I'm not really a Honda guy, but all my friends are, so I just glean the info off of them :)

that si tranny is great, very low gearing. If you ever need anything out of the Honda Shop manual while you're working on it, I can scan it and send it to you.
