Strut-Mounted Brake Hardline Question

Alright so I'm nearing completion on my pre-bent cunifer hardline kits. I've come across an interesting conundrum and wondering what you guys have seen on stock 02's.  This isn't a right or wrong thing, just an interesting observation.

On the strut mounted hardlines you've obviously got the support bracket bolted to the strut tube.  On the "all-original" cars I've worked on that bracket is mounted on the caliper side and the hardlines shoot up and then back down.

Now this is where my question lies, have you guys seen the mounting bracket switched to the opposing side on the caliper on a stock car?

My question is because ETK seems to indicate some definite bends (I know I know, not everything in etk lines up to what happened in reality on the production line).

Furthermore the lengths called for in ETK would also indicate the bracket being on the opposite side.  And from what I can see after test fitting there is no clearance issues if mounted there.

Here's what I've ended up doing for the upcoming kits.
