everyone who is within the vicinity of Toronto is invited. So guys from Buffalo, NY state, Detroit, Michigan, Ohio, Ottawa, Montreal.

RICHARD AND I ARE FINALIZING DETAILS OF THE CRUISE/PICNIC. HERE ARE SOME

TIDBITS.

1. The cruise/picnic/meet will be on August the 20th which is on a Sunday.

2. The cruise will be around Ontario province in the Durham region's back country roads and the

deadly corkscrew which richard and i know about. stopovers will include

mosport raceway park, so those of you who have not been there will have a chance to

see it.

then a stop over at marcus glarner's shop and with

his kind permission you guys can see all the race cars (schnitzer 2002, 3.0

csl, bmw grp 4 3.0 csl, M1 procars), street cars bmw's porsches, etc..

engines, parts he has for 2002's used and new. bring some money with you as

he has all the common tune and maintenance parts like plugs, caps, rotor,

points, condenser, oil filter, brake rotors, pads, etc...so you can all take

pictures and talk to the "man" himself.

then we will proceed to bmw of canada headquarters in whitby for a group shot. then go to heydenshore

park (this park is in whitby close to the highway 401 right on lake ontario) for barbeque. just

bring your burgers, ribs, steaks and hotdogs, soda pop, water. i'll provide the

charcoal, some burgers, soda as the park has bbq grilles on the premises. i will also bring

some food with me and my whole family. sorry no alcoholic beverages allowed

on the park. but you can improvise by putting it on a colored glass/plastic container. anyway there is a nice sports bar close by.

3. meeting place will be in courtice/bowmanville area close to the highway 401. time

would be around 11-1:30pm. cruise will start at 2pm. bbq will be around 5-8

pm.
