For Sale:

I have been storing these intending on running them on my 1974 2002 at some point when I get the project underway. However, I have since located the 5 lug bits to do the conversion on my 2002 (e12 front/ Z3 M roadster rears).

What I am selling exactly: I have 2 BBS "euroweaves" and 2 BBS RZ378s. Why would I have 2 of each wheel you ask? Well both wheels utilize the same mesh design, both are 15x7, both wheel types use the same BBS made caps. They differ in offset and this the RZ378 has a much deeper lip. Saying that they're staggered would be incorrect as they're the same width (fronts and rears), but they appear staggered when on the car. Both sets if wheels are very uncommon here in the states, the RZ378s are rare in general. I wanted to he different so I located both sets of wheels over a year and purchased both compete sets. One set is installed on my brothers 1987 325i convertible. This is a rare combo and will guarantee your 2002 to stand out as virtually no one else will be running this wheel combo.

BBS RZ320s (euroweaves)

15x7 et24 4x100. These are used up front.

BBS RZ378s

15x7 et20 4x100. These are used in the rear.

All 4 wheels are factory BBS gold in the center. I did start to polish one of the 378s, intended to polish all lips before I used them on my 2002, so that will need to be completed by the buyer. Wheels will come with caps, I have 4 caps with the 3D BBS black emblems. All wheels are straight and true, I picked the 4 best of the 8 I had initially to keep for my 2002 so they're in fantastic condition (very minor curbing/ scratches). I will take pictures of each wheel next weekend, I'm not

Home currently and wanted to get a junk start on listing them.

Below are some pictures of the other set mounted in the 325i with 225 50 15s on them. Also pictured below is another example of the wheels made up by a member on r3vlimited (not mine!) just to visualize the set better.

Call me, text me, email me, whatever.

I will ship the set, that won't be an issue.

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
