Normal Car Insurance

Does anyone recommend a company which will allow me to drive my classic as an everyday driver AND insure it for more than a few grand? Thanks everyone,

I use state farm had no issue.  You state the value they give you a rate. I use my 02 as a daily driver until the cruel winter begins. In Illinois I use extended antique classic plates which "allow" me to drive April through the end of October I believe.

I'm with state farm as a daily driver also. They will ask you how many miles you drive it each year, etc. Rate will be lower based off of the age of the vehicle, and asking for minimal coverage will save you a lot.

I have normal State Farm for both old vehicle/daily drivers....  but I've never had any incidents that would be worth reporting.  If the worst happens, how will they be?

I'd pay for their antique/classic coverage, but it says it should only be driven to club events and shows and such.  I do daily drive both, and use the truck for hauling things.  I've got a feeling I'd be screwed if either were wrecked while I was just using them like normal. 

 

I'm most worried about my Datsun L320.  There are parts that are near impossible to replace, and certainly won't be available through any supplier that an insurance adjuster would use.

be careful with "stated value" policies.  should get "agreed value", not stated.  do a forum search on insurance.  many, many discussions on this exact topic.
