Sorry Randy Can't make that but will be coming in the Spring and plan to bring the NK out for its debut

I still have fond memories of when Aubrey and I flew out in 07 and he bought the white car and I met you and Marge there at the hotel! It was a grand ol time!

I540 Exit 85 east on Walnut - hotel is just past second light.

They will hold a block of rooms for us until Oct 12. They may not sell out, but it would be good to reserve your room soon.

Please mention that you are with the BMW group.

We will go to dinner at 7pm Friday evening.

Saturday we will make a big loop and see the Ozarks.

This is a great time of the year to drive an 02 and visit with an outstanding group of folks, hope you can make it.

I'm 02-less right now too, but mine isn't gone for good. It's in SoCal for a makeover with Le at 2002 Garage Werks...

Drive safe all, hope to see you in the spring!

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books.
