Rivets would seem to be most popular, but some other good ideas based on the link above.  Dzus fasteners are another option which allow you to take the spoiler on/off if you need to.  Not so much need to do this probably with a street car, track car/race car would be a good idea based on the lowered ride height (and getting off/on you trailer).

I use a sandwich of a brass socket cap head furniture bolt (from Home Depot), 2 black rubber faucet washers, a thin washer and a nylock nut for semi-perment fixture.The wide head bolts are a bit long so I cut them down.

Not sure about the popularity of exterior trim in your area but, I have had two spoilers stolen.  I would add to any mount system some type of "safety measure" to slow down a would be jack-wad opportunist.  That or a hungry pit bull.

 

I like FB73Tii's hardware.  Looks a little more time consuming to remove.
