Photobucket And Browser Issues?

Are folks out there besides me having difficulty accessing and using Photobucket?  It does not matter if I use Internet Explorer or Google Chrome, Photobucket takes forever to load and even longer to view any of my pictures.  I have followed their troubleshooting instructions but still have issues (I have three open case numbers on file with them).

I did a search on Google and came up with other folks (on other forums) who have had issues.  One suggestion was to revert back to the older Photobucket format.

I've cleared my cache, cookies, add-ins, plug-ins and updated my wireless modem.

I have had speed issues with Photobucket, but not for a long while. I pay for mine though. I'm on Mac with Safari, Firefox and iPhone5 app. The main prob I've been having is getting the links when using mobile Safari and getting album links when mobile with either the app or Safari. That and I wish I could rotate the pictures while in the app.

I'm running a Cox Communications cable modem with their "high speed internet premier with powerboost" service and latest Linksys wireless router.

Called Cox today to do their automated troubleshooting with reset.  Other sites (like the FAQ) are doing better but Pbucket still way slow. Now I cannot even access my library (I'm a paying "pro" member for several years).  When i told the Cox service rep. that our modem was 7 years old, she said "you might want to get a newer one..but yours is too old for an exchange".  Geez.

Would hate to go Verizon fios just for internet use.

Does anyone ever look at the Off Topic section anymore (this is the only reason I started this here)??

Have you been able to use other high bandwidth sites, like watch videos etc?

I cannot view videos without cringing.  It's like dial-up.

1) Click on link for any video.

2) Ad starts playing.

3) Try to skip stupid advertisement.

4) Video starts to play but stops at about 3-4 seconds.

5) Wait at least 20 seconds for video to continue then it runs for another few seconds.

6) Repeat and give up.

I've not yet learned how to properly navigate the site.

:-)

My "home" default setting for the FAQ must be reconfigured (I have not figured this out).  If I log on and hit "view new content", I get "No new content" message and then must select the "forums" button.

Hey - isn't this considered thread-hi jacking???

0. Complain to isp again.

1. Get Firefox

2. Get adblock plug-n

3. See no annoying video ads and others

4. Rebuilt carbs with time saved.

It's what I do!

"New Content" is basically a search. Search is done in the section where you start.  So if you start froom home, you search "Home" if you start in Forums, you search Forums.

BTW, you guys are welcome to use the Gallery on this site instead of PhotoBucket. Easier to use images within the site ;)  Check out "MyMedia" button

navigate to the main forums page, then hit new content, then save that page as a favorite in your browser.  now when you click on the faq, it will take you straight to the new content in ALL the forum sections....ez.

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
