Attention EFI conversion builders. Here is a great place to start as most of the hard work is done to get your Turbo or Electronic Fuel injection project started.

M10 2.0 Litre motor +first overbore (89.22)

This is my prototype motor for mocking up this EFI system. It was a good running motor and the short block was not disassembled. Only the top end was removed to expose the pistons and combustion chambers. Oil pan is for a 320I which will need to be changed for a 2002.

Yes the #1 piston has evidence of debris impact. None of that has affected the cylinder wall.

Casting date 1980

E21 head with stock cam

EFI fuel rail modified and sealed to fit accurately in this set up. Manifold secures rail in place.

Pressure regulator

2.3/4 Throttle body with MAF connection

High PSI in-tank fuel pump

Three port water neck with sensors.

What’s needed is the AFM, some of the rubber ducting pending your application, and a Fuel management and or electronic management system like Megajolt/Megasquirt. Or you can run the set-up from an 84 318i.

Includes everything else (except gaskets) that came off of a running long block.
