introduction Forlorn '02

hi all,

 

just introducing myself. My name is Paul.

 

my friend's son just dragged home a R. U. F .F   ruff  2002. it was sitting outside for easily a decade. Did i mention it was rough? the father is, quote, "eternally grateful" to me for convincing his son to part it out. Romantic that I am, even I know when to cry uncle.

 

google search led me here, poked around, cool forum. I think you might the folks who would be interested in what this old girl has to offer before getting recycled into toasters.

 

1972, I think, round taillight version, seems complete. Didn't poke around too much, I was supposed to be working, but would pull back the tarp now and then. what a shame it degraded to this; I forgot how sweet these little cars are, don't see many anymore.

 

Going back tomorrow to finish the masonry work, will pull the tarp and take some pics with my phone. I don't know if i have to post x number of times to post in the for sale section. guess i'll find out soon enough. please bear with me as I don't move too quickly (slacker). I'm doing this as a favor to his dad, and also for the enthusiasts out there. As a collector myself, it makes me cringe to think about it getting scrapped without every usable part being removed.
