1973 BMW tii,

I got my dream job in Hawaii and don't want to kill this thing on the islands.

In a nutshell, it's a 90% completed total restoration project. Here's what's left:

Paint, body has been refurbed, block sanded and all rust removed and replaced with metal. Body is primed.

Trim has all been refurbed or re-chromed to new

Engine: Block has been re-bored and is ready, could do Pistons and install new block. It runs great but smokes. . . I have a refurbished K-fischer pump ready to go in.

Interior: Small tear in passenger seat, otherwise german vinyl is intact and needs to be re-stuffed. Carpet needs replacement. Dash is cracked.

Body and Interior: See above, all rust (which was minimal, just spare tire well and a bit around the windshield) is grafted out and replaced with metal.

Engine and Drivetrain: New clutch,brakes,suspension,and about 8K more, have all records from a notable guru in SoCal

Suspension, Brakes: Brand new bilstein, brand new factory brakes, BBS rims, new tires.
